Working with Children Check
Training for a triathlon, fun run or multisport event can be daunting and time consuming if you don’t make it count by training efficiently
with focus and purpose that is race specific.
Over the past 18 years I have acquired a vast amount of personal experience training and competing in multisport events. The fact that I’m still actively racing, keeps me up to date with the ever changing coaching principles and training developments. I first started out coaching in 2005 and my objectives from the outset were to support and guide people to be the best athletes they want to be and help them achieve their own personal goals.
Coaching should be an open and honest partnership, so my role as a coach is to provide support, motivation, encouragement and training direction to help you achieve your desired goals. There is no set formula to coaching and developing an open and honest coaching partnership and working together as a team will ensure you achieve your personal goals. To achieve your personal goals, your individualised training program should be achievable and suit your individual circumstances. You’ll have peace of mind knowing I also limit the number of athletes I coach to ensure you will receive timely support and guidance to help you achieve your goals.
I cater for juniors starting out, beginners wanting to complete their first race and seasoned endurance athletes where their performances have plateaued and are looking for fresh ideas and contemporary coaching principles to improve their performance.
As a 10 time Ironman triathlon finisher (with an IM marathon PB of 3:14), sub 3 hour marathon runner and 2011 Tri Vic Sprint Duathlon series winner in the 40-44 age group, you’ll have peace of mind preparing for your next event knowing your customised program will create a balance between family commitments and work by including proven training principles that will improve your fitness and mental strength to enable you to be consistent and confident on race day to
maximise your full potential.
